Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Shadow Sim is a race-engineering workspace for the game EA SPORTS F1 25. It records the telemetry your game already broadcasts on your own computer and turns it into race pace, tyre and lap analysis for you.

This policy covers the Shadow Sim web app and the Shadow Sim UDP relay you may download from it.

2. Information you give us

Account details: your email address and, if you provide one, your display name. Your password is handled by our login provider and is never stored by Shadow Sim or shown to us.

Session details: the circuit, session type, team label you type and the dates of each session. A random session token is generated so only your relay can add data to your session.

3. Telemetry from your game

The relay runs on your own PC and forwards only the data the game broadcasts: lap and sector times, speed, throttle, brake, gear, RPM, DRS, ERS, fuel, tyre compound, tyre age and tyre temperatures and wear, plus the car settings reported in the live dashboard.

Nothing is uploaded until you start a session and run the relay with that session's credentials, and it stops as soon as you stop the relay or finish the session.

4. What we do not collect

No payment card details. Every plan is currently free.

No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking cookies, no location data, no contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data, and no device identifiers beyond what the login session requires.

5. How we use your information

To sign you in and keep your sessions private to your account.

To calculate race pace, tyre degradation, session classification and the live dashboard figures you see.

To show your session history and to keep it until you choose to delete it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

6. AI coaching debriefs

When — and only when — you press “Generate debrief”, the measured values of the two laps you selected (apex speeds, brake points, throttle points and time deltas, without your name or email) are sent to our AI provider so it can draft the coaching text.

Nothing is sent automatically, and the debrief is not stored beyond the page you are viewing.

7. Who processes your data

Base44 hosts the app, stores the database and runs the login service on our behalf.

Our AI provider processes the two-lap summary described above, only when you request a debrief.

Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used by the interface.

These providers act on our instructions. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.

8. How we protect it

The app is served over HTTPS only, and every API call is encrypted in transit.

Session, lap and telemetry records are readable only by the account that created them; access rules are enforced on the server, not just in the interface.

The relay must present your session token, so nobody else can add data to your session.

9. How long we keep it, and how to delete it

Your sessions, laps and telemetry are kept until you delete them or your account.

Account & privacy → “Delete my account” erases your sessions, laps, telemetry, events and membership record immediately and asks us to close your login profile, which we normally complete within 7 days. This cannot be undone.

If you prefer, ask us through the app's support channel and we will do the same on your behalf.

10. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have inaccurate details corrected, delete everything, or object to how we process it. Deletion and correction are available on the Account & privacy page; for anything else use the support channel and we will respond within 30 days.

11. Cookies and local storage

We run no advertising or analytics scripts. The app stores only your sign-in session, a Cloudflare security cookie and your dashboard layout choice in your browser. Each item, with how long it lasts, is listed on the cookies page.

12. Children

Shadow Sim is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update it on this page and change the effective date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
